24-7 Intouch is excited to announce that we will once again be the title sponsor of the annual Mark Scheifele Golf Classic. The event, which is in support of KidSport Winnipeg, will take place on June 26, 2017 at the Niakwa Country Club.
"We are thrilled to once again sponsor KidSport and the Mark Scheifele golf tournament,” said Carmyn Aleshka. “It’s a fun day on the course with Mark and his teammates! But more important is the awareness and support raised for a great cause. We feel passionate about our community and love to support initiatives like this that directly impact young children. Sport has such a positive impact on these young lives and builds a foundation of success to last their lifetime. We are so proud to partner with Mark and KidSport Winnipeg!"
24-7 Intouch has been the title sponsor for the Mark Scheifele Golf Classic for the past two years. In that time the event has raised over $215,000 for KidSport Winnipeg.
“Last year we enjoyed a fantastic day at Niakwa and I'm looking forward to being on course with all the golfers again," said Scheifele. “It’s truly rewarding to know that in the past 2 years, the funds raised at the tournament and hockey camp have enabled KidSport Winnipeg to help over 700 families! This is a community that cares deeply about opening doors for kids and removing the obstacles that are keeping them on the sidelines, and I’m grateful for the tremendous support of 24-7 Intouch and all the generous sponsors and participants who are partners in helping us meet the needs of families.”
All proceeds of the event will help to remove barriers and assist less fortunate children participate in sports – so all kids can play.
